1.) ARE BOTANIKA LIFE PRODUCTS TESTED AND HOW DO YOU ENSURE THE QUALITY + CONSISTENCY?
BOTANIKA LIFE products are tested up to four times across the manufacturing process. Testing is done by independent 3rd party labs. We and our suppliers test our products at various points in the production process including: Dried hemp plant, Ingredient (hemp extract), Bulk (product after infusion), and/or Finished Good (final product). Finished Good test results are available on each product box as well as here.
Ingredient Testing
BOTANIKA LIFE products use full spectrum hemp extract that contains non-intoxicating phytocannabinoids and terpenes found in the plant. Our CBD ingredient is extracted from select domestically cultivated hemp and purification technology that meets our rigorous standards for taste, color, quality, CBD content, and purity. We independently lab-test every batch of hemp extract before it is infused into our products for CBD content and other cannabinoids, pesticides, contaminants, and residual solvents.
Our hemp grower/processor is located in the United States and uses Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout their supply chain and utilizes sustainable non-GMO farming practices.
Finished Goods Testing
Our Finished Goods testing is performed by independent 3rd party labs. We test for cannabinoid and terpene profile (amount in milligrams of present cannabinoids and terpenes) in addition to testing for Pesticides, Microbials, Mycotoxins, Heavy Metals and Residual Solvents.
The independent labs we use test to the standards set by relevant regulations.

No, BOTANIKA LIFE products are not tested on animals.

Tinctures are best consumed within 24 months of purchase but have a shelf life of 3 years.
We recommend using the skincare products within 3 years of purchase.
5.) HOW SHOULD I STORE BOTANIKA LIFE PRODUCTS?
All products should be stored at room temperature.

We ship our products to all states in the USA. We do not ship internationally at this time.

8.) WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED DOES OF SUBLINGUALS?
Half a dropper of our tincture contains the “average” starting amount. We recommend starting with this amount 1x per day then switch to 2x per day once you are comfortable. It’s important to know that everyone metabolizes hemp-derived CBD differently. It may take some testing to determine what the right amount is for your body, based on your goals.

11.) WHY ARE MY PRODUCTS CHANGING COLOR?
Full spectrum hemp extract is typically dark green or brown. Full spectrum extract contains all of the naturally-occurring cannabinoids, terpenes and other raw plant material. Its dark color is reflective of the hemp plant from which it came.
So as a result, full spectrum CBD oil drops tend to range in color from golden to dark brown. The more concentrated the hemp extract, the darker the color of the finished product will be.
